Everything about this day was perfect. The warm fall weather, the shining sun, the fun group of people. What more could you ask for? I have so much love for these two. The ceremony was at Madison’s Gates of Heaven which is nestled along Lake Mendota. A few blocks away, the untraditional reception was held at The Mansion Hill Inn. The Inn was classy and charming, just like Amy and Joel.
And check out this sweet video by Chad Day.
Oh Nikki, I LOVE it! The pictures are perfect and the website is so you!!
nikki you are awesome! these pics are beautiful! love the new site 🙂
I truly love your work & your eye for people. You are a very talented & skilled photographer. And you’re so cute & nice too. Very personable. Keep up the great work!
Such a wonderful collection of moment and memories, can’t stop going through these pictures! Thank you for doing such a great job! (and note to self, be less animated when professionals are taking pictures!)
There is a photo of the bride and groom standing in front of the Mansion Hill Inn with the mansion across the street in the background. My husband pointed out to me the familiarity of the background mansion and I said “Um yeah, that is because I lived there.” Ah the memories… Beautiful pics, by the way.
Is it strange that i really love the picture that is tagged as “440” because of the shadow on the wall? As they’re dancing they are somewhat far a part, but the shadow makes them look like they’re so close.. super cute!
Nikki, Thanks so much for capturing the special moments of that special day for us. These pictures bring it all back to life.
Love the music you chose!
Nikki – You did such a beautiful job capturing the intimate feeling of the wedding. I cannot stop looking through the pictures or watching the video. I have shared the images with best friends as well as work acquaintances (maybe I should keep my personal life a little more personal…) because I’m so excited about them. I have no clue how I’m going to choose which pictures to print.
